Cetotheriidae adalah sebuah familipaus balin (parvordo Mysticeti).[1] Familit ersebut diketahui hidup dari Oligosen Akhir sampai Pleistosen Awal sebelum punah. Meskipun kajian filogenetik yang dilakukan oleh Fordyce & Marx 2013 menyatakan bahwa paus kanan pigmi saat masih hidup sebagai anggota Cetotheriidae, membuat paus kanan pigmi menjadi satu-satunya cetotheriid yang masih hidup, penulis lain mempersengketakan penempatan atau pemulihan Neobalaenidae sebagai kelompok saudari dari Cetotheriidae.
