Stephen Thomas Erlewine (/ˈɜːrlwaɪn/; lahir 18 Juni 1973) adalah seorang kritikus musik Amerika Serikat dan mantan editor senior di basis data musik daring AllMusic. Ia adalah penulis sejumlah biografi artis dan ulasan rekaman untuk AllMusic, serta seorang penulis lepas yang sesekali menyumbangkan tulisan untuk catatan album.[1][2]
Erlewine lahir di Ann Arbor, Michigan, dan merupakan keponakan dari mantan musisi sekaligus pendiri AllMusic, Michael Erlewine.[3][4] Ia menempuh pendidikan di Universitas Michigan, dengan mengambil jurusan bahasa Inggris, dan menjadi editor musik (1993–1994) lalu editor seni (1994–1995) di surat kabar kampus The Michigan Daily, serta menjadi DJ di stasiun radio kampus, WCBN.[5] Ia telah berkontribusi pada All Music Guide to the Blues: The Definitive Guide to the Blues[6] dan All Music Guide to Hip-Hop: The Definitive Guide to Rap & Hip-Hop.[7]
