Pertunjukan boneka merupakan sebuah bentuk teatrikal atau pertunjukan yang melibatkan penggunaan boneka. Pertunjukan ini telah ada sejak zaman kuno, dan dipercaya berasal dari 3000 tahun SM.^[1]

Pertunjukan boneka kebanyakan digunakan oleh seluruh umat manusia sebagai hiburan – dalam pertunjukan – dan upacara dalam ritual dan perayaan seperti karnaval.^[2]

Kebanyakan pertunjukan boneka melibatkan storytelling.

Sejarah

Pertunjukan boneka merupakan bentuk kesenian yang sangat kuno, tepatnya berasal dari 3000 tahun yang lalu.^[1]
