Jean-Baptiste Biot (/ˈbiːoʊ, ˈbjoʊ/;^[2] bahasa Prancis: [bjo]; 21 April 1774 – 3 Februari 1862) adalah seorang fisikawan, astronom dan matematikawan Prancis. Ia adalah salah satu penemu hukum Biot-Savart dari magnetostatik, menghimpun realitas meteorit, membuat penerbangan balon awal dan mengkaji polarisasi sinar.
