Ornithothoraces
Ornithothoraces adalah sekelompok dinosaurus avialae yang meliputi seluruh enantiornithes dan euornithes, yang meliputi burung-burung modern dan leluhur terdekat mereka.[1] Anggota terawal yang diketahui dari kelompok tersebut adalah enantiornithean Protopteryx fengningensis, Eopengornis martini, dan Cruralispennia multidonta, serta euornithine Archaeornithura meemannae, semuanya dari Grup Sichakou dari Formasi Huajiying di Tiongkok, yang telah ada pada 130.7 juta tahun lampau.[2] Setidaknya satu enantiornithean lainnya, Noguerornis gonzalezi, berusia lebih tua, sampai 145.5 juta tahun lampau, meskipun masa kepunahannya tidak diketahui.[3]
