Nepenthes platychila
Nepenthes platychila bahasa Yunani yang berarti "berbibir datar") adalah tumbuhan kantong semar tropis yang endemik di Pegunungan Hose di Sarawak bagian tengah. Spesies ini dikenal karena peristomnya yang halus dan kantong atas yang berbentuk corong.[ 3] Nepenthes platychila termasuk dalam kelompok "kompleks N. maxima " yang didefinisikan secara longgar, yang juga mencakup, di antara spesies lainnya, N. boschiana N. chaniana N. epiphytica N. eymae N. faizaliana N. fusca N. klossii N. maxima N. stenophylla N. vogelii [ 4]
Kantong antara/atas dari Nepenthes platychila , yang dibudidayakan oleh California Carnivores . Nepenthes platychila dimasukkan dalam laporan tahun 2002 mengenai Nepenthes di Pegunungan Hose dengan nama sementara Nepenthes sp. 'B'.[ 2]
