Morning Star adalah sebuah surat kabar harian dengan format tabloid di Inggris yang berfokus pada masalah-masalah masalah sosial, politik dan serikat buruh.^[3] Artikel-artikel dan kolom-kolom komentarnya sekarang disumbangkan oleh penulis berhaluan sosialis, komunis, demokrasi sosial, dan politikus Hijau serta ada juga dari perspektif agama^[3]

Tabloid ini didirikan pada 1930 dengan nama Daily Worker oleh Partai Komunis Britania Raya (PKBR). Sejak 1945, People's Press Printing Society menjadi pemiliknya, dan pada tahun 1966 berganti nama menjadi Morning Star. Majalah politik "New Statesman" menggambarkan Morning Star sebagai "surat kabar komunis terakhir Inggris".^[4] Morning Star mengatakan bahwa editorialnya sejalan dengan Britain's Road to Socialism, sebuah program dari Partai Komunis Britania Raya.^[5]
