Laura Sjoberg adalah ilmuwan hubungan internasional dan keamanan internasional feminis. Karya-karyanya membahas interpretasi gender dalam teori perang sah, studi keamanan feminis, dan kekerasan terhadap wanita dalam politik global.

Sjoberg adalah dosen pembantu ilmu politik dan studi wanita di Universitas Florida. Ia pernah bekerja sebagai pengajar dan peneliti di Kennedy School of Government di Universitas Harvard, Universitas Duke, Boston College, Universitas Negeri dan Institut Politeknik Virginia, Universitas Brandeis, dan Merrimack College.
