Ghiyāth al-Dīn Jamshīd Masʿūd al-Kāshī (atau al-Kāshānī)^[1] (bahasa Persia: غیاث‌الدین جمشید کاشانیcode: fa is deprecated Ghiyās-ud-dīn Jamshīd Kāshānī) (1380 Kashan, Iran – 22 Juni 1429 Samarkand, Transoxania) adalah astronom dan matematikawan Persia.

Biografi

Al-Kashi adalah salah satu matematikawan terbaik di dunia Islam. Ia lahir pada tahun 1380, di Kashan, Iran tengah.
