Ian McEwan (lahir 21 Juni 1948) merupakan seorang penulis buku berkebangsaan Inggris. Dia dilahirkan di Aldershot pada masa kecil dia menghabiskan waktunya di Asia Timur, Jerman, dan Afrika Utara. Dia pernah belajar di Woolverstone Hall School, Universitas Sussex, dan Universitas East Anglia.
