Giambattista Basile (Februari 1566 – Februari 1632) adalah seorang penyair, abdi dan kolektor cerita dongeng asal Italia. Koleksinya meliputi bentuk catatan tertua dari kebanyakan cerita dongeng Eropa terkenal.[1]
