Buenaventura adalah kota pelabuhan pesisir yang terletak di wilayah Pasifik departemen Valle del Cauca, Kolombia (Amerika Selatan). Buenaventura (bahasa Spanyol untuk "keberuntungan") adalah pelabuhan utama Kolombia di Samudra Pasifik.[2]
Berdasarkan sensus tahun 2018, Buenaventura memiliki populasi sebanyak 235.064 jiwa.[3] Sebagian besar pembangunan perkotaan terjadi di Pulau Cascajal, sementara sebagian besar wilayah kota berupa pedesaan dengan desa-desa kecil yang tersebar. Kota ini dilayani oleh Bandara Gerardo Tobar López.
